University Of Idaho Murder: What Did The Investigation Reveal?

In the university of Idaho murder, the police found four dead. The Moscow Police Department stated that the four victims were students of the University of Idaho.

The deaths of four University of Idaho students, who were discovered dead on the afternoon of Sunday, November 13, in a residence less than a mile from the university campus, are being looked into by the Moscow Police Department (MPD).

At 11:58 a.m. on Sunday, Moscow Police responded to a call from an unconscious person, and reaching there; they discovered four bodies.

Near King Road, less than a mile from the University of Idaho campus, cops received a call, according to MPD Captain Tyson Berrett, reporting an unconscious person.

According to the university of Idaho Public Safety and Security, the event occurred off campus. They further said that Moscow Police is digging into the case and that no other student is in danger. 

Scott Green, the president of the university, made a statement saying that all the scheduled classes would be canceled on Monday in honor of the students who had passed away and that anyone in need of additional support could connect to the concerned person. 

The Police Categorised This As A Homicide Case

According to NBC affiliate KTVB of Boise, police described it as a homicide. The university sent a notice to subscribers advising its community to shelter in place or avoid the campus because the suspect was not known at this time.

In the statement, Capt. Tyson Berrett revealed, ‘this is an ongoing investigation. As soon as the net of the family is notified we will update the information we have.’

‘The four victims were pursuing their respective education at The University of Idaho,’ Moscow Police Chief James Fry told KTVB.

The culprit is still unidentified, but the Moscow Police Department is looking into it. A second Vandal Alert states that the university’s order to shelter in place has been revoked and that MPD does not feel there is an active danger at this time. 

U of I cautions locals to exercise caution.

‘There isn’t a suspect at this time,‘ according to MPD. According to the Vandal Alert, ‘individuals who can’t leave the area should take cover.’

What Evidence Did The Police Find?

When police arrived at the crime scene, they discovered four people dead. They were later recongnized as students of the University of Idaho. 

Police are looking upon the fatalities as homicides.

The authorities did not disclose the reason for the death and if any of the four were students. 

Once family members were informed of the deaths, according to police, more information would be released.

According to a Vandal Alert the institution got on Sunday, police have not yet identified a culprit, and students were warned to stay away from the area and seek shelter. 

An hour after the initial alarm, a revised alert was sent out that lifted the shelter.
