Mom Shaves Stepson's Head For Smoking Weed And Bad Grades

Disciplining children is a touchy subject when it comes to parenting, especially when it involves stepchildren. Are stepmothers and stepfathers allowed to punish the children they inherited through marriage however they see fit? Should they always consult with the biological parent or should the biological parent just be the sole voice of authority?

One stepmother in particular took correctional methods into her own hands when her 12-year-old stepson, Terrence, got out of line. Not only did the seventh grader come home high, but he also brought a report card full of F’s with him. As a result, he was held back a year. When she found out he’d been sampling weed and posting pictures of it with his friends on social media, she gave him a makeover he’ll never forget.

While briefing him on the laundry list of consequences for his actions—which included whoopings, a fresh recut and being grounded all summer—she shaved the entire center of his head to favor the popular George Jefferson haircut that troublesome tikes have been sporting.

“This is what happens when you come in my house high,” she said. “What we don’t do is get high at 12. And what else we don’t do is get all Fs.” She also promised to post the video on his Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Kik.

Yikes… and R.I.P. to his hairline. Watch the full video up top. Was Terrence’s punishment fair or did the mother go too far?
