Kris Jenner is known for being the driving force behind her daughters’ successful careers, but the momager isn’t afraid to tell someone when she thinks something is a bad move, even when it comes to her partner, Corey Gamble.

According to various reports, Corey almost had a chance to star in the hit television program Yellowstone, but Kris ultimately put a stop to it. In the season four premiere of The Kardashians, Kris revealed that Corey had been approached about having a stint in Yellowstone, but she was discouraging him from taking it.

Her disapproval emerged during a family getaway to Cabo, Mexico, which surprised her daughters as well as viewers. Kris, 67, explained she was mainly concerned that Corey, 42, would have a romantic storyline on the show, which she wouldn’t feel comfortable with.

"Correct, because I told him to say no. Because I thought he was gonna have to have a romantic relationship,” Kris explained to her kids.

Khloe replied by asking her mom what she would’ve done if she was offered the role and Kevin Costner played her love interest. "That's a hard yes. Bring on the saddle!" Kris replied.

It’s unclear how big Corey’s role in the hit TV show was going to be, or how much he would make from the role. Kevin Costner was making $1.2 million per episode in 2022 as the series’ lead, though he recently announced his departure from the show earlier this year as he navigates his divorce from Christine Baumgartner.

Corey’s salary likely would’ve been nowhere near seven or even six figures. Corey has some acting experience, having appeared in 2020’s 2 Minutes of Fame as well as being credited as a producer on the short film Glitter Ain’t Gold. He's also been a regular cast member of The Kardashians, and prior to that, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, since beginning a relationship with Kris Jenner in 2014.

Corey isn’t the only Kardashian-Jenner family member to consider a career in television Kim Kardashian recently made her debut in American Horror Story, to mixed reviews. It’s unclear how much the SKIMS founder is making from the project, but Kim admitted to having to take acting lessons for the role. Perhaps they paid off, literally and figuratively.
