Alana and Dralin were first publicly linked last September. The couple made headlines for their four-year age gap – while Alana is 16 years old, Dralin is 20-years old and enrolled in college. But sources claimed the couple were head-over-heels for each other despite public criticism.

However, a representative for the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo alum has set the record straight – it’s not an actual engagement ring. As per E! News, the representative confirmed it’s not an engagement ring or anything symbolic, adding it’s “just a ring.”
Alana is relatively private about her personal life now that she’s no longer on TLC. The former Toddlers & Tiaras star currently lives with her older sister Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, who was awarded custody of the teen earlier this year.
Mama June Shannon was ordered to pay her eldest daughter $800 per month in child support until Alana turns 18-years-old. The decision came after Mama June’s years-long battle with addiction and the law.
Although Alana is no longer living with her controversial mother, Mama June has been vocal about her daughter’s relationship. "You cannot pull them out of each other's asshole,” she previously said. "She wears long lashes. She has long nails and now she's in an interracial relationship," Mama June continued "She does get a lot of hate on that. She just chooses, to avoid the negativity, not to put everything out just like me."
In addition to her sister, Lauryn, 22, is raising 5 of her own children, including a set of twins that she welcomed earlier this month.
