Scott Evans, brother of “Captain America” star Chris Evans, was arrested Tuesday after attempting to buy drugs from an undercover police officer.

Huffington Post says Scott Evans’ arrest in Los Angeles came after the soap actor allegedly tried to purchase illegal drugs, but Evans was quick to respond on his Facebook account. After being released, Evans posted: “Most ridiculous night of my life in LA so far. At least I made it a year before getting arrested.”

The 29-year-old Evans moved from his home in Sudbury, MA to Los Angeles earlier this year to try and jumpstart his acting career. Getting arrested is definitely a good first move to become a famous actor, but Evans probably hoped to be known more for his roles and less for his police blotter.

Scott Evans arrest is the second time he’s made headlines this year. The first came after the openly gay actor’s character on “One Life” became involved in a relationship with another male character. That storyline made religious co-star Patricia Maucier walk off set.
