Early life
The TV host was born on June 2, 1951, in Elmira, New York, the U.S. Her full name is Jeanine Ferris Pirro. Jeanine is the daughter of Lebanese-American parents. Her parents are is Nasser Leo (father) and Esther Pirro (mother). Her father is a mobile-home salesman, while her mother is a department-store model.
Jeanine attended the Notre Dame High School in Elmira, where she graduated from and interned in the Chemung County District Attorney's office during her time in high school. After high school, she joined the University at Buffalo.
The star graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. Later, she received her J.D. degree at Albany Law School of Union University in 1975.

Pirro knew she wanted to be an attorney when she was six. After her graduation at Albany Law School in 1975, she was appointed by District Attorney Carl Vergari to the position of Assistant District Attorney of Westchester County, New York State. While there, she practised her career by writing appeals and handling minor cases.

In 1978, Pirro was appointed to be the first chief of the new Domestic Violence and Child Abuse Bureau, Newyork. This was after a federal grant for local district attorney's offices to establish bureaus that specialized in domestic violence.
During her tenure, Pirro was known to be an aggressive bureau chief. She had a strict policy against dropping cases at a victim's request due to possible coercion. Pirro left the District Attorney's office when she was elected as a judge of the Westchester County Court during the November 1990 election.
Judge Jenine was a judge for two years before being elected as Westchester County District Attorney, again becoming the first woman to hold that position. She was re-elected for the position in 1997 and 2001.

Political career
Judge Jeanine first showed her political interest in 1989. She has, however, withdrawn from the races twice. The first time was in 1989 as the running mate of Westchester County Executive and presumptive Republican gubernatorial nominee Andrew O'Rourke and 2005 as the Republican nominee to challenge first-term incumbent senator Hillary Clinton.
On May 31, 2006, Pirro was unopposed for the nomination. As a result, she became the Republican Party's official candidate for Attorney General of New York by acclamation at the state GOP convention. In addition, she received nominations for the New York Conservative and Independence Parties.
Pirro lost the general election to the Democratic nominee, former Clinton Housing and Urban Development Secretary and future Governor Andrew Cuomo (58%–39%). However, the defeat did not stop her from supporting Donald Trump throughout his presidency.
